Foundation / Simulator Development
The project is building its base. The current published driving reference is a 7:12.170 simulator benchmark in Assetto Corsa Competizione with the BMW M4 GT3.

Two drivers. One long road from the simulator to the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
We are building the knowledge, consistency and means to take a Chinese-developed prototype to the Green Hell. The ambition is a BTG lap under seven minutes—earned over time, not claimed today.
Current benchmark
Simulator performance is one part of the preparation. It is not a real-world lap time.

Long-term target
An ambition for the future. No real-world Nordschleife result has been achieved.
An independent effort
Project Apex is a long-term driver and engineering project, built around two people with studies and careers beyond the circuit.
Our destination is a Chinese-developed, track-focused prototype: the planned NXT MK1 EVO. The car has not been acquired. For now, we are in the foundation and simulator-development stage—building skills, asking better questions and documenting what is genuinely known.
The sub-seven-minute BTG goal gives the work a direction. It does not turn the work ahead into an achievement already made.

Keep claims connected to their source, conditions and stage of development.
Move toward real-world testing only as people, project and resources are ready.
A record we can stand behind
Engineering notes are being prepared for publication. Each record will distinguish what we asked, what we tested and what the evidence can actually support.
What are we trying to understand?
What do we expect, and why?
What would make the test useful?
What did the observations show?
What can we say with confidence?
What should be examined next?

Search and filters are ready for the corner and sector notebook.
As analysis is developed and checked, this section can grow into a reference for corner characteristics, driver notes and linked engineering records. Records will be added as the work is documented and checked.

Entries will be added with dates, categories, project status, photographs and links to related records. The public log currently publishes only the verified project stage and benchmark.

Small by design. Serious about the work.
Project Apex is built around two core members pursuing the same goal.
Both balance other educational and career commitments alongside this independent project. That shapes the pace: deliberate progress, honest records and a focus on learning at every stage.
